At that surgery, they first go through a few very small openings in my knee to see what they are going to do, and then they start to make sure that my knee can not lock and that I will not have any pain anymore.
As a precaution they have already made a kneecap via CT and MRI scans, in case they want to replace the entire thing. The chance that this is going to happen is very small, so they told me, but it would bring me very close to 3D printing, and that is ironic and cool at the same time.
After the operation I will keep you informed of what happened. I will also see if it is possible to get to the 3D files, so that we can all look around in my knee and maybe we can keep a contest who can print the best kneecap for me, and what kind of material to be made.
We will see it when I wake up tomorrow. Goodbye, if I can vlog again, I’ll keep you informed.
