Why 3D printing is amazing! (but will not replace industry manufacturing)

If you own a 3D printer you need to realise how lucky you are. Just like Lego for kids (and big kids), 3D printing lets you realise whatever ideas are in your mind. No investment in molds are needed and you can make parts where a mold would be impossible to use. So why isn’t 3D printing dominating industrial manufacturing? After that huge upfront investment in injection molding, parts can be produced stupidly fast and cheap.
